NOO ITS OKAY DW OMG i wont kill you i promis ok….. immm gonna be honest with you though most of the time i just wing it LIKE…. im no artist n dont know shittt about color theory dude i just throw colors around n hope for the best 😭
for my colors i try not to stick to the same hue and usually play around/experiment with the colors whenever possible. LIKE i literally just throw everything until something sticks LMAO but ever since i started doing the hueshifting technique it’s reallyy helped. also i’m wayytoo lazy to use a diff app to tint so what i usually do is like... okau example if i’m making a char that has blue hair, but i want the skin to have a pinkish/purple-ish tint, i pick the original shade of blue i want & then move the hue bar slightlyy towards where the purple is to give it that effect, then do the same w/ the rest of the colors IDK IF THATMADE ANY SENSE ???? but that’s usually what i do for all my ponies n that’s the besti can describe it💔💔
UM yeah bro ngl my technique is the definition of fuck around n find outso sadly i don’t have many good tips to give BUT there r some really good rentries i’ve seen that are so so good at helping with colors so i’ll link them 4 u. the creators of both r incredibly talented so hopefully you find something there that could help ¿¿ butYEAH best of lucks twin
